My search for the perfect travel/everyday hat is finally over!

I have been searching for years to find the perfect travel/everyday hat, and my search is finally over, thanks to the PLH 2.0 getaway hat.

I wanted a hat that is easily packable, machine washable, and still retain its form, especially its brim. I've tried countless hats, but none have been able to deliver on every front like the PLH 2.0.

In addition to being able to do all three above, the hat is also:

* Lightweight

* Has stretchy material that stretches just the right amount to fit my headshape perfectly

* Extremely comfortable

* No visible branding on the outside, giving a clean, minimal look

* Great adjustable clip, with the attention to detail of being able to pack in the extra strap inside the hat, instead of it flapping around on the outside

It took me close to 2 months to get the hat, but the wait was definitely worth it, and the handwritten note from Scott was a personal touch I really appreciated. Super happy with the purchase.

My new go-to hat

Stumbled across this hat on Amazon and looked good so I pulled the trigger. It showed up and I was pleasantly surprised by how well made the hat is. They really thought everything through— ultra premium fabric and craftsmanship inside and out. I used it to swat a mosquito a few weeks ago and accidentally smacked a brick wall and broke the back clasp… so I emailed Getaway and within a half hour they had already sent tracking info for a replacement clasp on its way to me. My favorite feature is how you can crumple it up and stuff it into your pocket, then pull it out, give it a little shake, put it on and it looks new. If a versatile hat that can dress up or down is what you want, look no further.
