Getaway Hats is based in Philadelphia, PA and launched in September 2021 with a budget friendly travel hat on Amazon and getawayhats.com.

We are a small team with a DIY approach. We are committed to making the best packable hats on the planet. 

This brand is built on our love for travel and bonding over shared experience. We also believe travel goes beyond geographical terms. You can go very far, yet no where. You can go a few miles away but still feel a sense of adventure. Our mindset is that simple things can be enough to getaway.

KICKSTARTER 2023 

We launched a Kickstarter campaign in January 2023 for the Semi-Structured Collection, which includes three different styles of hats. We received the Kickstarter “Project We Love" badge and raised $40,374. This represents 807% of our funding goal that was supported by 678 backers, across 30+ countries.

TRAVEL GOODS SHOW 2024 

The Semi-Structured collection is featured at the Travel Goods Show 2024, Las Vegas — the world's most influential travel goods event, in the  Crowdfunded Product Category Showcase.

This event includes the latest innovations in the travel industry and provides huge exposure to the international market.
