My New Favorite Hat

...I love the look, the sizing, and the weight. The fabric is lighter than expected... The customer service communication was excellent... I’m a fan and am excited to watch GETAWAY add more colors and options to their offerings and continue providing an excellent product with their already excellent customer service. For comparison my favorite trucker hat before this one is Sunday Afternoons trucker.

Best hats ever

I own two of the Getaway hats, and they really are the best ones I've owned. As you can see, I'm old enough to have worn a lot of hats and I'm sincere when I say they are the best I've had. I love that the Bali hat fits so comfortably. It's nice that the cord is easily detached for when it's not so windy. I can wad this hat up wet and when it dries, it looks exactly the same. It's easy to stuff in a pocket and pull it out later and have it still hold it's shape. You need this hat.

My hat showed up yesterday. 100% worth the wait. I'm a 47 year old lesbian. I don't know if you know what kind of hat connoisseurs my people are, but it's second only to flannel shirts. Anyway this hat is fantastic. Comfy AF straight out of the box. Only took it off to sleep. I'm already browsing for a backup in case anything happens to this one. Worth every penny. -Amy

I'm a picky hat guy with a big head. It's hard to find a hat that looks good, feels good and isn't a pain to take care of. First impression when I put it on: headband feels reaaal nice. Dare I say, luxurious? The material of the hat itself is flexible yet holds it's shape, and it's held up nicely overtime. This is a hat that will end up in your regular rotation and last a long time. Pro tip: get two in different colors to make coordinating outfits super easy. Or so you actually have one to wear after your girlfriend "borrows" yours.

Travel hat you’ll actually wear outside of travel.

TLDR the title: bought this hat to replace another brand’s travel hat (elastic head band stretched out and made the fit worse). Never really liked that hat to begin with because it felt and looked floppy for my head shape - but having a hat while traveling is a must for me being bald so I was glad be be able to pack something. What sets this hat apart from all other ‘travel’ hats is that it’s semi structured. This is huge for me. It actually looks like a regular ball cap and I can fold it up or lay it flat in a bag. Best of all it looks and feels good enough to wear it on a regular basis so it doesn’t feel like a compromise when I travel. I reach for this hat more than I thought I would - so glad that I got it and love the versatility. The mesh panels would keep you cool on a hot day, but I wish there was an option for solid all the way around for cooler climates like mine. The brim of this hat maintains a slight curve which is just my style.

Perfect Travel Hat

I got this hat for a 3 week trip to Italy. Packed it away for the first week of the trip (wedding stuff) and brought it out for backpacking through the Dolomites and the Amalfi coast the last two weeks. Held its shape great and was packed down super flat when it wasn’t needed. I also put it through a lot, and it does not show any signs of wear and does not smell. I’m impressed. Highly recommend.

My search for the perfect travel/everyday hat is finally over!

I have been searching for years to find the perfect travel/everyday hat, and my search is finally over, thanks to the PLH 2.0 getaway hat. I wanted a hat that is easily packable, machine washable, and still retain its form, especially its brim. I've tried countless hats, but none have been able to deliver on every front like the PLH 2.0. In addition to being able to do all three above, the hat is also: * Lightweight * Has stretchy material that stretches just the right amount to fit my headshape perfectly * Extremely comfortable * No visible branding on the outside, giving a clean, minimal look * Great adjustable clip, with the attention to detail of being able to pack in the extra strap inside the hat, instead of it flapping around on the outside It took me close to 2 months to get the hat, but the wait was definitely worth it, and the handwritten note from Scott was a personal touch I really appreciated. Super happy with the purchase.

One in every color

Getaway hats are my go-to. Headband is my favorite part. Most hats irritate my forehead and the snapback makes my forehead break out. This one is soft and comfortable. Great hat for more than just travel. It's mostly my gym hat.

Great hat

No brand makes the curved soft brim. Getaway is the only one. So good for stuffing away in my bag. I wear this all week. My wife bought me two more for the birthday.

Big head but this fits

I have a pretty big head but the PLH 2.0 fits. I wear this hat daily. I have 4 colors right now. Really looking forward to them releasing more colors. Hey Getaway, make more colors!!!!!!!!!

I’ve worn my Pack Light Hat 2.0 on hikes, flights, and beach days. It’s seriously the perfect travel hat. It’s lightweight, breathable, and folds up without losing its shape. I love that it’s machine washable too. It just feels easy, stylish, and built for people who are always on the go.

My hat for surf trips and trail days

I wear the Pack Light Hat 2.0 for everything from a morning surf to weekend hikes. It dries fast, keeps its shape, and breathes really well in the sun. It’s light, comfortable, and easy to throw in a bag. I’ve gone through a lot of hats, and this one’s easily my favorite.
